Chattanooga Junior Golf Informational Meeting Approaching

The Chattanooga District Golf Association (CDGA) and the Tennessee Golf Association (TGA) have scheduled a Junior Golf Informational Meeting for Tuesday May 15th at Chattanooga G & CC . The meeting will begin at 6 P.M.

Jeff Craig with the CDGA and Steve McDonald with the TGA will be there to inform junior golfers ages 4-18 and their parents about upcoming junior golf activities including clinics, camps and tournaments. It is open to all juniors and parents and is a free event. Find out how to get started in junior golf or take your game to the next level.

Some of the programs that will be covered include:

Chattanooga District Golf Association - a series of junior events especially for Chattanooga area juniors.

Toyota TGA Junior Tour - a statewide summer junior tour for ages 4-18 - including many tournaments right here in Chattanooga.

Tennessee PGA Junior Golf Academy - a week long overnight camp at Golf House Tennessee in Franklin for ages 11-18. Camp Instructors include PGA professionals and college coaches.

TGA Junior Amateur Championship - play begins at qualifiers in each part of the state and the Championship will be played at Johnson City Country Club.

The First Tee of Chattanooga - a developmental program for juniors wanted to become involved in golf.

Tennessee Girls Golf Network- a program develop to bring golfing girls together throughout the state.

Local Junior Golf Camps and Clinics - many area courses teach juniors throughout the summer, find out when your local course is having programs.
